Keep the pans in sync.

Choose the change below. Most pan updates need only Shopify Admin, not the website repository. Open any screenshot for a full-size view.

Where to edit

One pan connects three places. Edit the field where it lives, then check the buyer view.

1ProductName, description, photo, price, SKU, stock and publication.
2Pan ShadePalette and gallery visibility, finish, order, fallback colour and optional cut-out.
3Fast BundleWhich pans can be bought in a complete palette and the package price.

Stock and price

Open the pan Product. Choose the correct location and edit its variant; leave Pan Shade Active alone for an ordinary stock change.

Use the Product's inventory fields

Check price, tracked stock, Available quantity and SKU. Keep “Continue selling when out of stock” off unless overselling is intentional.

Image, order and visibility

Change the Product photo for the Product page and Shade Gallery. Change Pan Shade for the palette cut-out, finish, position or visibility.

Photo or wording

Edit the Product. Product media and the palette overlay are separate images.

Order or finish

Edit Pan Shade → Sort order or Finish. Use a valid Key and unique order. For a finish move, change the Product's mapped collection too.

Palette cut-out

Replace Optional overlay image with a transparent square PNG. Inspect the corners on a checkerboard first.

Temporarily hide

Set Pan Shade → Active explicitly to False. Keep at least one active pan in its finish.

Pan Shade: six fields

Open Pan Shade entries. Select the exact pan before editing.

Add a pan

Follow this order so a visible shade is also purchasable.

  1. ProductMake one sellable variant with photo, price, SKU, tracked stock and publication.
  2. CollectionPut it in exactly one mapped finish collection.
  3. Fast BundleAdd the Product to the published palette offer and check the live widget.
  4. Pan ShadeLink the Product, set Finish and order, then turn Active on.
  5. VerifyReload, find the shade, complete a four-pan palette, and check checkout.

Mapped collections: matte-eyeshadow → MATTE; duochrome-eyeshadow → DUOCHROME; shimmer → METALLIC. Two mapped finish collections are ambiguous.

Check the live bundle before activating.A checked Product in the app editor may still be absent from the rendered buyer widget. Test the exact pan in a complete palette.

Finish and palette look

Rename a tab in Pan Finish. Change builder colours and spacing in the Shopify Theme Editor.

Pan Finish controls the tab

Open Pan Finish. Name can change; keep Key stable. Use Sort order for tab position and Swatch style for its effect.

Background and colour

Open Themes, then Customize → palette-template → Palette Builder. Use Builder colour scheme and Palette preview background.

Shades and spacing

In the same section, choose Soft shadow or Flat, shade spacing, selected ring colour, and desktop/mobile top and bottom spacing. Preview both sizes.

Bundle and buyer check

Open Fast Bundle. Check the published offer, then test the actual storefront and checkout.

Published palette offer

Confirm one Palette parent, a four-pan rule, eligible individual pans, Active status and today's set price. The screenshot price is historical; checkout is the final price check.

Search the exact pan. A checked box alone does not prove the live widget shows it. Cancel and discard a read-only audit.

1 · Reload

Open a fresh palette and find the pan under the intended finish.

2 · Select four

Include the changed pan and use the normal Add to Bag action.

3 · Checkout

Confirm the intended component lines and current package price.

4 · Gallery

Check the Shade Gallery image, Product link and sold-out state.

If the pan is visible but cannot be added, check Product publication and the live Fast Bundle widget before changing theme code.

Ask an agent

Example request “Update Peach Flesh with my new palette cut-out. Keep its price and stock unchanged. Show me the transparent PNG, update the exact Product and Pan Shade, then verify a complete palette and Shade Gallery.”

Give the pan name or Product link and original image. Do not paste passwords or API tokens into a chat.

Less common changes

Use these only when routine edits are insufficient. For a bulk sync, Finish Key migration or rollback, contact the technical operator.

Retire a pan safely
  1. Set Pan Shade Active to False and verify it disappears.
  2. Remove it from each Fast Bundle offer where it should no longer sell; publish.
  3. Remove it from its mapped finish collection.
  4. Archive the Product if standalone sales should stop. Delete the Pan Shade last.

If it is the finish's last active pan, plan the finish change first. An empty live finish can break the palette catalogue.

Change or remove a finish

Name is a routine rename. Key is a case-sensitive link to every Pan Shade; do not change it casually. To remove a finish, move or retire every linked shade and update Fast Bundle before deleting the Pan Finish entry. Never leave an empty finish live.
